Homemade Southern BBQ Sauce
made with Arvinda's Southern Smoky BBQ
This is an amazing BBQ sauce that is smoky and infused with garlicky goodness, a maple sweetness and a touch of chili heat! Versatile, this is also a delicious dipping sauce but guaranteed this can easily become one of your favourite marinades for your grill.

About 1 ½ cups
1 CUP | ketchup |
½ CUP | vinegar |
⅓ CUP | water |
2 TBSP. | ARVINDA’S SMOKY SOUTHERN BBQ |
¾ TSP. | sea salt, or to taste |
In a small non-stick pot, combine all ingredients together and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, or until reduced and thickened. Add salt to taste and simmer for a couple more minutes.
Remove from the heat and cool to room temperature. Use as required for your barbecue. Refrigerate any unused sauce for up to 3 days.
